What minimum radius for 2-rail, standard gauge?
Depending on what models are used, what would the members say is the minimum radius that some standard gauge (32mm) 2-rail O Scale models can get round? Here in the UK, with smaller houses, and therefore smaller layouts, it's an important question.

Reply to "Lionel Pre-War Factory Standard Gauge Display Layout ...
I first discovered this forum as a result of my love for Lionel factory displays and layouts. While I'm a Standard Gauge collector I enjoy seeing the old factory displays in all scales. The post war O Guage layouts were really interesting with all their remote control accessories and Lionel packed a lot of action into a small space. I've spent hours on here looking at and studying them and I ...

Reply to "Flyer prewar O gauge diecast passenger cars"
I recently acquired a three-car set of American Flyer prewar O gauge diecast passenger cars, a 521 Club Car and a pair of 524 Pullmans. From the Greenberg Flyer Prewar O Gauge book by Schuweiler these were produced 1939-41 as the start of the new 3/16" scale line of rolling stock embarked upon by new owners A.C. Gilbert Co. After World War II this product line would be retooled as S gauge. So ...

Reply to "Maui Sugar Cane Train Will End, Last Run Dec. 31" | O Gauge ...
The Maui narrow gauge Sugar Cane Train's last run will be Dec. 31. They lost over half their right of way so the line is only about three miles at best. Both steam engines were just rebuilt this year. There is also a diesel narrow gauge switcher. Sad day and a huge loss for Maui and money for the new owners. Don
