Click DOS->Quick Lauch program and choose ZEKO.exe First I use it to decode my ZCS (I find start-off date putting the JJ63691 IKE VIN in RealOEM) as you see the options from BMW Scanner matched. Then I discovered the options that (probably) my car had from factory using the online tool (Free BMW VIN Decoder : ///M Decoder)
if you dont' do this, the bus interface will get in conflict with the car's bus system not allowing you to do anything. please also notice that in the system's settings (where you choose the boot logo) there's a specific section to choose the correct can bus decoder.
Unplug the 40pin from the radio, plug it into the 40 pin on the harness. plug the remaining 40 pin harness connector into the radio. plug the radio antenna into the harness and plug the CAN bus decoder into the harness.
