San Antonio had seven different players reach double figures in scoring, but guard Stephon Castle posted a 30-point double-double with 10 rebounds and 6 assists.
It was quite the return, as Wembanyama’s 22 points helped the Spurs push past the Oklahoma City Thunder to move into the NBA Cup final. The game announced the Spurs as legitimate contenders, and set up a potential rivalry in the Western Conference that could dominate the NBA for years to come.
