Puka Nacua critiqued referees for wanting "TV time" earlier in the week. On Thursday, he doubled down on his sentiment.
Puka Nacua did not hit a controversial dance following a touchdown on Thursday night. The Rams superstar scored in the fourth quarter of Los Angeles’ road matchup with the Seahawks, but when he got up to celebrate, he spun the ball, performed a quick gesture with his arms, and then had some fun with his teammates.
He also said he would do a touchdown celebration that is "antisemitic in nature," as he wrote in an apology. During the Rams game against the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, Prime Video's Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit briefly addressed the comments made by Nacua in the vaguest terms possible.
Nacua appeared on a livestream with controversial creator Adin Ross, and during their time together he blasted NFL referees and promised to do an antisemitic touchdown dance. After Thursday's loss, Nacua doubled down on his disdain for the refs in a since-deleted X post.
